About William McConnell
He was the commissioner of the OHSAA from 1958 until 1963. His tenure as Commissioner was marked by four of his characteristics: loyalty, honesty, hard work, and growth. He worked diligently at expanding the scope of OHSAA in the areas of relationship with the Principals Association and the different Coaches Associations. He took an active part in the National Federation annual meetings.
