About Terry Oehrtman
Terry Oehrtman has coached track and field and cross country at Lancaster High School for 32 years. During that tenurehe served as an assistant coach and head coach in both the boys' and girls' track and cross country programs. Terry's athletes garnered individual State Titles, and teams he assisted with earned State Championships in both track and cross country. Terry has managed many track and cross country invitationals, league meets, and OHSAA Districtand Regional Meets. In 1980, Terry started a twenty year service with the OAT&CCC. Starting as a district representative, Terry served as Association president in 1990 and 91. He was also Association secretary from1996-2001. Terry's OAT&CCC committee work has included: Head Ohio Coach for the MidWest Meet of Champions; Meet Manager for the Indoor Elite and Classic Meets; updating and rewriting the Association constitution and by-laws; and the girls' cross country promotion committee from 1990-2000 when 126 high schools added girls' cross country teams into the State Tournament.
