About Kevin Huntley
Kevin Huntley was an all-around track athlete for St. Joseph Central Catholic in Freemont. He was coached by Edward and Joe Colon. Kevin excelled in a number of events, but his specialties were the 110 and 300 hurdles. In 1992-93, Mr. Huntley not only set Midland Athletic League but Division 111 District, Regional, and State records in both hurdle events. His record times of 13.79 in the 110 hurdles and 37.58 in the 300 hurdles still stand as Division 111 State records. Mr. Huntley placed at State all 4 years of his high school career, earning State Championships his sophomore year and 2 his junior year. Mr. Huntley attended the University of Wisconsin, participating in both football and track. He lettered all four years in both the indoor and outdoor track. He was also a member of the 3-time Triple Crown Big Ten Champion teams during his time there. He currently ranks 4th all-time on the University’s list on 110 M. hurdlers.
