About Jim Fox
Jim Fox has given outstanding dedication to track and cross Country. As an athlete, Jim ran in the State Meet in Pennsylvania and became an eight time All-American at Mt. Union College. Beginning in 1967, Jim coached high school athletes at Salem High School, Toledo DeVilbiss, and finally at Youngstown Boardman. Jim has been a registered official for 36 years, serving as a rules interpreter for ten years. Jim has also officiated at the State Track Meet for 20 years. Jim is well known throughout Ohio as a long time meet manager for both track and cross country invitationals and State Tournaments. Jim Fox was the Youngstown Boardman Athletic Director for five years, retiring in 2002.
