About Aaron Roberts

Aaron Roberts wore the brown, white, and orange of the Heath High School Bulldogs from 2003 to 2007 as an outstanding two-sport athlete in track and field and football. His amazing athleticism played a key role in the Heath Boys Track and Field team's success during his high school career. Aaron won his first two state championships as just a sophomore, taking home gold in the 4x200 and anchoring the winning 4x400 relay at the OHSAA Division II Outdoor State Championships in 2005. He added a 6th place finish in the 300m hurdles and led the Bulldogs’ to Outdoor Team Runner’s-up. As a Junior, Aaron added his third state title, winning gold in the 300m hurdles at the 2006 Outdoor State Championships. His Senior season was one for the ages. Aaron began the 2007 campaign with two OATCCC indoor state championships in the 400m run and 4x400 relay and topped off the indoor state meet with a 3rd place finish in the 60m hurdles and 6th in the 200m dash, leading the Heath Boys to become Team Indoor State Champions. Add in his back-to-back All-Ohio honors as a wide receiver from the 2005 and 2006 football seasons, and Aaron accounted for 14 All-Ohio honors as a student-athlete. Upon graduating high school, Aaron signed with The Ohio State University where he competed for the Buckeyes from 2007-2011. Aaron battled through injuries early in his collegiate career and broke through during his junior season, where he captured a Big Ten runner-up finish in the DMR and a 6th place finish in the 400m hurdles. Aaron saved the best for last, being selected as Team Captain for his senior season in 2011. At the Indoor Big Ten Championships, Aaron won two silver medals, finishing second in the DRM and 4x400 relays. At the Outdoor B10 Championships, Aaron won his first Big Ten title, leading off the gold medal 4x400 relay team. All accomplished while obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
