About David Smith
David Smith was the boys' track and field coach at Chesapeake High School form 1952 through 1963. He has been an official for many years and has been a special contributor at all levels of both track and cross country. He was and OAT District Representative. he was a founder and served as secretary for 40 plus yeas of the Ohio Valley high School Athletic Conference. He started several elementary track and field programs in the area. Dave served as meet manager for different levels of track and field meets.
