Robert Annasenz

Coached track at Marietta High School from 1952 through 1975. Coached cross country at Marietta High School from 1954 through 1974. Won nine district and seven league track championships. Won two district/regional cross country meets and 105 dual/tri cross ccountry meets. Meet manager. Official.

 

Robert Bobo

Coached track at Shade High School from 1942 through 1954 and at Chillicothe High School from 1955 through 1981. Coached cross country at Chillicothe from 1967 through 1980. Won one district and three league track meets. Coached five individual state track champions. Won 139 track dual/tri meets and 50 dual/tri cross country meets. Official.

Marvin "Marv" Crosten

Coached boys track at Upper Arlington from 1965 through 1974 and boys cross country from 1964 through 1973. Won eight district titles in each sport. Won seven track and six cross country league meets. Was runnerup in two State Cross Country Meets and one State Track Meet. Coached seven individual State Track Meet winners. Coached girls track at Upper Arlington from 1979 through 1985 and girls cross country from 1978 through 1984. Won four State Cross Country Meets and one State Track Meet. Won all four league and all seven district/regional cross country meets. Won all seven conference anf four district/regional track meets. Was runnerup in one State Cross Country Meet and twice in the State Track Meet. Coached ten individual State Track Meet winners and one individual State Cross Country Meet winner. Official. Meet Manager. Ed Barker Award. OATC president. 1981 Girls Cross Country Coach of the Year and 1985 Girls Track Coach of the Year. Ohio coach of the Midwest meet of Champions in 1974. Was a successful runner at Bowling Green State University and Akron North High School.

 

Fred Dafler

Coached 12 years of track and cross country at Pitsburg Franklin Monroe High School. Won two track district meets. Won seven league cross country and six league track championships. Coached one individual State Track Meet champion. Won 99 dual/tri track meets and 49 dual/tri cross country meets. Official. Ed Barker Award. Has helped track and cross country in Ohio as the Assistant and Associate Commissioner of the OHSAA, especially in officiating.

 

Fred Buschemeyer

Coached track at West Milton from 1930 through 1936. Coached track at Fairborn from 1937 through 1956. Coached cross country at Faieborn form 1936 through 1949. Won two conference and one track district title. Coached one individual State Track Meet champion.

 

Richard Davisson

Coached track at Richmond Dale Southeastern High School from 1948 through 1967. Coached cross country in 1966. Had eight conference and five district track wins. Won 89 dual/tri track wins. Official. Meet manager.

 

Floyd G. "Dude" Norman

Coached track at Dayton Roosevelt from 1958 through 1968. Won one state high school track championship. Won five league and four district track meets. Coached two individual state high school track championships. His 1962 two mile relay team set the national record.

 

Wallace "Bud" Tapola

Coached track at Toledo Devillbis High School from 1965 through 1985. Coached boys cross country at Devillbis from 1963 through 1984 and girls cross country from 1978 through 1984. Won one state high school cross country meet. Won eight conference and three district cross country meets. Won one conference and one district track title. Coached two state high school cross country individual gold medalists and one state high school track meet winner. Coached track at Toledo Devillbis High School from 1965 through 1985. Coached boys cross country at Devillbis from 1963 through 1984 and girls cross country from 1978 through 1984. Won one state high school cross country meet. Won eight conference and three district cross country meets. Won one conference and one district track title. Coached two state high school cross country individual gold medalists and one state high school track meet winner.

 

Sid Sink

Ran for Fairview High School and Bowling Green State University. Won one National AAU event and scored in another. Won two outdoor NCAA gold medals, and scored in two others. Won two NCAA indoor events. Three time NCAA Cross Country All-American. American record holder in the 3000 meter Steepchase. Won four track and two cross country Mid American Conference individual titles. Won two All-Ohio cross country meets. Placed in national AAU cross country meet once. Set Ohio college outdoor records and three Ohio college indoor records. Has been coaching Bowling Green's womens cross country team since 1978 and the men since 1985. Won four womens Mid American Conference cross country championships, three All-Ohio Womens cross country meets and one mens All-Ohio cross country meet.
