Vendor Interest in securing a location at the OATCCC State Track and Field Clinic
Continued Service Project
Dear Coaches,
If you are attending this
years clinic. We are requesting that join us again in our collective service
project. As you make your way into Columbus for
the weekend, please bring a couple of cans of food along with you to join
us in our service project. At registration and outside the coat room we will
be collecting food for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank to help them restock their shelves after the holiday
season. January and February are difficult months for food pantries and it
is our goal to help one that serves so many children. The partnership the
Mid-Ohio Foodbank shares with more than 500 partner agencies across their
20-county service area is crucial to their mission. It’s these food
pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, after-school programs, and senior housing
sites that ensure the food they deliver gets to the people who need it most.
And their impact is incredible: providing more than 51,000 meals each day.
If each one of us who attends the clinic would bring just two items, we
would amass more than 3200 items or roughly 3000 lbs of food for our
project. Thank you for your considerations.
