About Julie Victor
Julie Victor from Austintown Fitch combined a rare talent of being a Champion at both jumping and throwing. In the discus, Ms. Victor threw 160’ 2”. In the shot put, she putted 45’ 7 1/2”. She also cleared the bar in the high jump at 5’ 4 1/4”. In Julie’s senior high school season, she won the shot and discus in every meet including the State. She set records at 8 of those meets. She was a 7 time State qualifier. Both USA Today and Track and Field News recognized Julie’s talents by naming her to their All-American squads. Following high school, Ms. Victor went on to attend the University of Michigan. She received All-American honors in the discus.
